The AEG T37400 Dryer has some known problems that occur often. Here are some easy to do solutions for the problems or error codes your AEG might be giving you.

1. DRYING light flashing

The machine is performing the drying phase, but the Start button needs to be pressed again.

2. COOLING light flashing

The appliance is in the cooling phase, but the Start button needs to be pressed again.

3. END light flashing

Flashes at the end of the cooling phase and during the anti-creasing phase.

4. ANTI-CREASING PHASE light flashing

Flashes alternately with the light END at the end of the drying phase and during the anti-creasing phase.

5. The drier is not working properly

Possible causes include the mains plug being disconnected, no programme selected, or the loading door being open.

6. The drying results are not satisfactory

Possible causes include the wrong programme selected, lint filter blocked, wrong filling quantity, or laundry not pre-dried sufficiently.

7. The drying cycle exceptionally takes a long time

Possible causes include disrupted vented air transport or blocked lint filter.

8. The loading door cannot be closed

The lint filter is not installed or the filter lid is not locked in position.

9. Drying cycle ends automatically with END indicator illuminated shortly after programme start

Vented air transport is disrupted, or the lint filter is blocked.
